23 girls spent 4 days in Newport for my sisters bachelorette party. Below is the itinerary and recs on where to stay, eat, drink, and party!

Where to stay?

Given we were a group of 23, it was definitely a struggle to find a space for us. We tried looking for airbnbs but none of the ones that were big enough, were close enough downtown. We decided to stay at the Club Wyndham Long Wharf. This was great because they had suites of 2 bedrooms fitting 6 people and 3 bedrooms fitting 8 people. We booked 1 - 3 bedroom suite and 3 - 2 bedroom suites. All together we had 4 suites all near each other.

FRIDAY

Girls were arriving around 4 pm for check-in to the hotel and got ready immediately. In the main suite, my sister (other MOH) and I prepped the pregame. We set up the bach bags for the girls, decorations, and a charcuterie board/drinks.

Our theme for the pregame/night was "She Said Oui". We were going for French and "Sara (Emily) in Paris" vibes. We set up a charcuterie board along with baguettes, croissants, macaroons, and aperol spritzes as our cocktail. We ordered the balloons off of Etsy and the streamers, french flags for the cheese, cups and sign off Amazon. The best part was that we ordered 23 berets for each girl to wear for the night. After the pregame, all 23 beret wearing French girls headed downtown to dinner at the Surf Club (this was such a great spot for dinner explained more here). The entire town of Newport was clapping and cheering for us as a herd of 23 girls in berets and "Emily in Paris" outfits strutted to dinner (photo proof below). After dinner we headed to The Landing. This was such a fun bar right on the water with live music on one floor and a DJ on another. Bars close at 1 am in Newport so we headed back for some late night chicken nuggets and snacks.

SATURDAY

Unfortunately we woke up to rain so the Cliff Walk and beach day were out of the picture but it ended up being a perfect day. We brought ponchos so everyone headed downtown for coffee and breakfast at Drift Cafe. Then we shopped at many cute stores on Thames Street and Bowens Wharf. My favorites were Chez Shell (for authentic summer sweaters), Bite me Bait (for Newport Sweatshirts, hats and t-shirts), and Malibu Friday Boutique (for cute dresses, tops, and jewelry). Then we ate lobster rolls, oysters, fries and more at The Lobster Bar for lunch. The sun started to come out so we headed to the outdoor bar at The Black Pearl for their famous mudslides. We then went back to the hotel pool for a bit and then got ready for the night.

Our first stop was The Lawn at Castle Hill Inn for cocktails and then we went to Perro Saludo for dinner. Perro Saludo was so good but beware you may leave with a full stomach with troubles of drinking heavily later in the night. Post dinner we headed to One Pelham East for their Dueling Piano night and Newport Blues Cafe for a fun spot with live music.

SUNDAY

We woke up to a sunny morning so thankfully we could do the Cliff Walk! We couldn't walk the whole thing had to turn around about halfway since we needed to get ready for the boat day. We had a 12 pm start time for the "Island Time" boat. It was a large party boat that can fit 42 people comfortably. This was definitely a highlight of the trip.

The drivers took us to this spot near the bridge, docked the boat and got out these huge floating matts for us to hang out on.

After a long fun day on the boat we headed back to The Landing for Sunday Funday with a great band and lots of dancing and continued drinking.

MONDAY

Sad day leaving Newport - we loved it so much here and I definitely will be back. Of course we stopped by a couple shops before leaving to grab last minute merch and then headed home!
